Humility in place of Hubris

We’ve been here before. That’s at least the view of Brad Feld, the Boulder based venture capitalist who, in describing the 2022 tech crash argues that “for those of you older than 40, it sort of felt like 2000.” Feld is, however, more interested in the future than in history. And for 2022 to turn out to be a better year than 2023, he told me on KEEN ON today, the technology community needs to learn to tell the truth. No more promises of tech saving the world, he says. No more childish promises about crypto or Web3. Above all, no more lies. Humility in place of hubris.
