What comes after neoliberalism?

Of the hundreds of books we covered in KEEN ON in 2022, I probably referenced Gary Gerstle’s excellent The Rise and Fall of the Neoliberal Order the most. Like all good contemporary histories, it is most useful in making sense of the future. And what the Gerstle history tells us is that the neoliberal order that ruled the world for the last half century has fallen. So what, I asked Gerstle when he came on KEEN ON this week to summarize 2022 & preview 2023, comes next?
