No, you got it wrong. David's book Exurbia now is proganda and full of falsehoods and extrme exaggerations. Exurbia is in reality very far from without communal spaces or engagement. No way it could ever be the political or social threat it has supposedly become otherwise, -just think about the contradiction. Exurbia has not only churches but countless small local live events listed all over in reality, and while much of it is chain restaurant dominated, independent restaurants and other businesses are quite common. Most in exurbia don't hate those who are different either, -they are just sick and tired of being disrespected, having their livelyhoods and families threatened (yes they are!) lied about and gaslighted by the likes of Mr Maciotra. Enough already!
